McMinnville City Club is governed by a board of directors, half of whom are elected each year. Terms are two years and directors may serve three consecutive terms. The board meets four to six times each year.

Our Program Committee is responsible for selecting nine programs per year (subject to approval by the board). The committee meets two or three times each year.

Board meetings are held quarterly at 4:45 p.m. in the News-Register conference room. Regularly scheduled meetings are Sept. 13, 2010; Jan. 10, 2011;April 11, 2011; and June 13, 2011. Other meetings may be called by the President. City Club members are free to attend.

Opportunities exist to serve on either the Board or the Program Committee. The Program Committee meets in March and April to determine the following year’s programs. It’s a short-term assignment that’s always fun and interesting.
